Iranian-American stand up comedian Maz Jobrani returns to Australia following his successful 2008 performances in Sydney and Melbourne.

Jobrani's comedy tackles topics of politics, race, religion and other common issues that exist in our daily lives. He takes pride in breaking down stereotypes about Iranians and the Middle East in general, and at a time when the Middle East and the West are in deep rooted conflicts Jobrani sets out to help bring the two worlds closer together.

His insightful and hilarious routine has challenged and entertained audiences world-wide. Jobrani recently undertook a major international tour, performing in a number of cities across Scandinavia, the UK, Canada and the US.

Maz has performed stand up on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and has had numerous roles in film and television. Recent film work includes Ice Cube's "Friday, After Next", and TV guest appearances include "Malcolm in the Middle," "Still Standing", "The West Wing", "NYPD Blue", "Without a Trace", "ER", "Law & Order" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm".
